So this is good because if it is not a B&S specific thing then maybe anotehr dev has already cracked the issue.

He suspected it was some conflict with Unity, but one positive thing was he said he found reports of other games' communities having the exact same issue, also Unity games. UPDATE 11/17/21 The latest is I chatted with kospy yesterday in a meeting to see what was the status of this issue and he said it was still a mystery because the issue must be something that you guys all have in common that is causing a conflict with something, but that is the hard part to figure out.
